Of Taoist Chinese origin, Chi Nei Tsang means “working with the energy of the internal organs”. It uses all the principles of Kung-Fu and Tai-Chi-Chuan known as Chi-Kung. Chi Nei Tsang is a form of “applied Chi Kung” and Celeste practices internal breathing and energy cultivation and circulation during your session.
Chi Nei Tsang is done mainly on the abdomen with deep, gentle, soft touch which supports the organ systems in working more efficiently.
All the body systems are addressed; digestion, respiration, lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, integumentary and skeleto-muscular as well as the energy and meridian systems.
Just as we digest food, we also digest all of life’s experiences; physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. Unprocessed or undigested emotions create “charges” that are held in the body, often in the abdomen and internal organs. These unprocessed emotional charges create patterns of tension in the body that have a great impact on our holistic health.
Chi Nei Tsang brings awareness through breath, touch, and circulation of chi. It facilitates physical and emotional release.
Celeste doing Chi Nei TsangThe navel holds a lot of information and is a very potent area. We actually grew out of our navels which is the root of all the fascia. The fascia is the network of connective tissue that surrounds every muscle and organ in the body. The meridian system and chi flows through the fascia. Working around the navel impacts every part of the body and releases blockages in the energy flow.
Chi Nei Tsang is detoxifying, pumping organs with fresh blood, oxygen and chi and releasing wastes and toxins.
It helps correct structural patterns of tension and visceral imbalances. It also facilitates emotional release, self awareness and healing.
